The new areas are a result of two radio-collared wolves being tracked from their home packs to new home ranges. OR25, originally from the Imnaha Pack, traveled through the Columbia Basin, southern Blue Mountains, and northern and central Cascade Range and since May has been in the Klamath County area east of Chiloquin. OR30, originally from the Mt. Emily pack, crossed Interstate 84 and has been a resident since May in the Starkey and Ukiah wildlife management units between Ukiah and La Grande in Union County.
