Wolf Calls to Congress needed today via @Howling4Wolves

Dear wolf advocate A wolf delisting amendment will be voted on by the US House tomorrow or Friday. The lifeline for the wolf will be cut if Congress gets their way.  Please muster your inner wolf and make phone calls to your own US Representative in their D.C. offices. Even if you know that your representative is against federal wolf protections, a phone call is important so they cannot say “no one contacted us.” The full U.S. House of Representatives is taking up the “Sportsmen's Heritage & Recreational Enhancement Act” (SHARE Act), simply called the Sportsmen’s act (HR 2406).  Amendment #2 will delist the Great Lakes and Wyoming wolves and make it not subject to judicial review. The amendment language is the same and by the same congressmen as in the December “rider” bill: Reps. Ribble, Lummis, Benishek and Peterson. Our strong and relentless defense bolsters those lawmakers who support federal wolf protection.  We may also persuade more moderate representatives. We must be the wolf’s voice.  Right now we are in defense mode, which is tough, but better than having wolves lose protections. Be the wall! Find your individual member of the U.S. House of Representatives through this link and ask them to:  Vote “no” on the #2 amendment to HR 2406 that delists the wolf of the Great Lakes and Wyoming  Vote “no” on HR 2406 the Sportsmen’s Act or Share. Tell your representative that state agencies do not use smart or ethical wolf policies. We witnessed this firsthand when they immediately started wolf hunting and trapping seasons after wolf delisting in 2011.  Killing wolves is the only plan our state agencies have ever offered.  State agencies are not recovering wolves and that is why they still need federal protection.
