In Bad Großpertholz, in District Gmünd, a wild wolf is on the loose. The chairman of the Natural Park Großpertholz filed charges with the police after all four fallow deer lay dead in an enclosure. Damage: Around 2,000 euros.
The Executive examined the dead animals, for bite marks and fur samples. Suspicion immediately fell upon a wolf.
The "suspicious" Wolf was spotted in Karlstift on Wednesday spotted and photographed. The Wolf Representative of Lower Austria is investigating the case now.
