The zoo is hosting a contest on their website where the public can vote on their favorite names for the pups.
Voting began today at 1 p.m. and end on August 5th at 5 p.m.
The name options have all been chosen from the Spanish language, the wolves’ native region of Mexico and the southwestern U.S., and one after a prominent conservationist.
This male has already been named named
Nestor, in memory of Ernesta, a female wolf who lived at Brookfield Zoo
before being released into the wild.
The name options for this female pup are Magdelana, Artesia and Winona.
What should this male pup be named? Inigo, Fausto or Chavo?
And him? Coronado, Aldo or Hector?
Visitors can see the pups as they grow up, playing and exploring their habitat at the zoo’s Regenstein Wolf Woods.
