Tell the United States Fish and Wildlife Service
That You Support Red Wolves!
USFWS photo by Barron Crawford
Iconic photos, like Barron Crawford's above, remind us how important it is to protect wild red wolves in northeastern North Carolina. With that in mind, we want to remind all Red Wolf Coalition supporters that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Red Wolf Recovery Program is currently undergoing a 60-day review, which is to be completed by 10 October 2014. As part of this review, the Service is gathering public perspective and opinion via email. The future of the Recovery Program will depend to a significant degree on public input, and the red wolves are depending on YOU to be their voice. If you haven't done so already, please send an email message emphasizing your support for red wolves and for the red wolf recovery program to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Please use the following email address:
redwolfreview@fws.gov
And, please remember that positive comments get more attention than negative ones!
Be sure to send your email message before the USFWS deadline, which is the end of business on 26 September 2014.
If you would prefer to send your comments via surface mail, please use the following address:

Note that letters must be postmarked no later than 26 September 2014.
Thanks as always for your support of red wolves. If you have any questions about this alert or about the review process, please contact us at redwolf@redwolves.com.
