Orphaned wolf pups leaving for Lower 48 home

ANCHORAGE, Alaska- The five wolf pups that were orphaned by a wildfire on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula will soon have a permanent home in the Lower 48.
The pups will leave later this month for the Minnesota Zoo near Minneapolis.
The five pups were brought to the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage on May 27 after being orphaned in the Funny River Fire near Soldotna.
The Alaska Zoo says in a release that the pups are spending most of their time in their outdoor pen, and will be on display until July 14.
